AmaZulu new signing ready to give Arthur Zwane his all following his move from Richards Bay
Langelihle Mhlongo is ready to break his leg for AmaZulu.
The midfielder joins Usuthu from provincial rivals in Richards Bay FC as a free agent and has made bold statements about his new employers.
“l am ready to give my all. I’m prepared to help the team achieve its objectives,” said Mhlongo as he was unveiled by club boss Sandile Zungu.
While many players would say they grew up supporting Soweto clubs as Kaizer Chiefs or Orlando Pirates, Mhlongo says he grew up with an unrestrained desire to don the green and white shirt of AmaZulu.
“I feel happy and honoured to play for a club l grew up wanting to represent,” he said.
“I look forward to playing alongside my new teammates and working with coach Arthur Zwane and his technical team. I would also like to thank my previous club for everything they did for me.”
Mhlongo joins the team as a free agent, his debut is dependent on his level of fitness as he would likely make it this weekend when the Durban side host Siwelele FC in the Betway Premiership match.
The match is at Moses Mabhida Stadium at 3.30pm.
