Zamalek Set for Financial Boost Amid Club Challenges

Zamalek fans have been given a major boost following recent struggles, as reports suggest the club is set to receive a significant financial injection that could make it the richest club in Egypt in the coming years.

Financial Windfall for Zamalek

According to Egyptian sports journalist Khaled El-Ghandour, Zamalek has secured investment licenses for a 100,000 square meter land near its headquarters in 6th of October City. This land will be developed into a massive commercial project, expected to generate billions of Egyptian pounds for the club.

"The project will include a new club facility, a shopping mall, a hospital, and business outlets," El-Ghandour said.

"Businessman Mahmoud El-Gamal, known for his New Giza projects and a dedicated Zamalek supporter, will oversee the investment."

The club will be able to pay off its debts, settle legal issues, and sign player contracts, including one for Ahmed Sayed "Zizo," whose future has been unknown, thanks to the incoming finances.

Zamalek Preparing for Al Ahly Clash

Meanwhile, Zamalek has entered a closed training camp in Ismailia, preparing for their crucial league match against rivals Al Ahly on Saturday. The match comes after:

• Al Ahly’s 4-0 win over Ismaily in their last league match.
• Zamalek’s 1-1 draw against Petrojet.
