All eyes will be on Cairo International Stadium on Saturday at 7 PM (Cairo time) as Al Ahly and Zamalek clash in the Egyptian Premier League’s Round 15 showdown.
Al Ahly enters the derby second in the league with 32 points, five ahead of third-placed Zamalek, who dropped points in a recent draw against Petrojet. The Red Devils hold the upper hand, facing a Zamalek side under the guidance of newly appointed Portuguese coach José Peseiro.

According to Transfermarkt, Al Ahly’s squad value has risen to €33.90 million, boosted by the winter signings of Achraf Bencharki and Slovenian forward Nejck Gradišar.
Meanwhile, Zamalek’s squad value has declined significantly, now standing at €15.55 million—less than half of Al Ahly’s valuation.
