Worrying news ahead of the World Cup. PSG leader substituted due to injury in Champions League final
The French national team may face a serious personnel issue just two weeks before the start of the World Cup. PSG winger Ousmane Dembélé suffered an injury in the Champions League final against Arsenal and was forced to leave the pitch.
The incident occurred in the closing moments of added time in the second half. The French forward felt discomfort and was unable to continue. Dembélé was struggling to walk and held the back of his thigh, which could indicate a muscle injury. PSG’s head coach was left with no choice but to make a substitution, bringing on striker Gonçalo Ramos in his place.
