Without surprises. Iran crushed Palestine in the Asian Cup match

Iran and Palestine faced each other in the first round of the Asian Cup, within the Group C.

In this confrontation, there was an obvious favorite, the nominal hosts, who are contenders for the title.

The Iranian national team decided to avoid surprises today and began justifying their status without hesitation, scoring three goals before the 38th minute. Karim Ansarifard, Shoja Khalilzadeh, and Mehdi Ghaedi found the net for the Iranian team.

Palestine managed to reduce the deficit just before the halftime whistle through Tamer Seyam. However, it had no impact on the course of the match; on the contrary, Iran scored another goal. Serdar Azmoun sealed the victory.

In the other match of Group C, the UAE confidently defeated Hong Kong (3:1).
