With whom will Real Madrid and Barcelona contend? The draw for the Round of 16 of the Copa del Rey

On January 8th, the draw for the Round of 16 of the Copa del Rey football tournament for the 2023/24 season took place.

The defending champion, Real Madrid, will face Atletico Madrid in the 5th round of the competition.

Barcelona will encounter Unionistas, a team competing in the third division of the country. Previously, Unionistas sensationally eliminated Villarreal from the Cup, defeating the Yellow Submarine 7-6 in a penalty shootout after the match.

Another title contender, Girona, will meet Rayo Vallecano.

The Round of 16 matches in the Copa del Rey will take place from January 16th to 18th.
