Following yesterday's 3:2 victory over Barbastro in the Round of 32 of the Copa del Rey, Barcelona has set a unique record.

For the first time in its 125-year history, Barcelona has been unable to win by a margin greater than 1 goal in 20 consecutive matches. Interestingly, in the match against Barbastro, the Catalan team came close to breaking this streak but conceded a penalty in injury time.

Barcelona's last larger victory dates back to September 19, when they defeated Antwerp 5:0 in the UEFA Champions League.

In La Liga, Xavi's team currently holds the third position with 41 points, while Real Madrid and Girona are 7 points ahead.
