Will he turn down Real? Klopp's top ambition is to manage an elite national team
Jürgen Klopp’s name is once again at the heart of transfer and managerial rumors, even as the man himself focuses on long-term plans away from club football. After his departure from Liverpool, Klopp took up a sporting director role within the Red Bull system and reportedly feels at ease in this current phase of his career.
According to Diario AS, one of Klopp’s main professional ambitions remains to take charge of the German national team. This is seen as a long-term project that could become the next chapter in his managerial journey.
At the same time, Klopp continues to be linked with a possible appointment at Real Madrid, and there have also been reports of interest from Manchester United.
For now, Germany’s national team is led by Julian Nagelsmann, who faces his second major tournament after Euro 2024. The question of the national team’s managerial future, as always, will hinge on the results at the World Cup.
