"Why Not?": Canelo Open to Fight with Jake Paul

WBC, WBA, and WBO super middleweight champion Saul “Canelo” Alvarez has addressed the possibility of stepping into the ring against boxer and YouTuber Jake Paul.

Details: The Mexican superstar stated that he would consider such a fight after concluding his career at the highest level of professional boxing.

Quote: "A fight with Jake Paul? When I’m done with boxing at the top level, why not? Yes, maybe. I think it’s good because it brings in fans who don’t usually watch boxing. They know Paul, but they don’t know anything about boxing. Maybe I’ll take the fight," Alvarez said on The Full Send podcast.

Reminder: In September, Canelo secured a unanimous decision victory over Eduardo Berlanga. Jake Paul, meanwhile, defeated Mike Tyson on November 16.
