Mike Tyson's return to the ring ended in a one-sided defeat. On Saturday, November 16, YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul claimed a decisive victory by unanimous decision over the legendary heavyweight in Texas.
Details. The 58-year-old Tyson barely landed a punch during the eight-round fight at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington. Paul won by a wide margin on all three judges' scorecards: 80-72, 79-73, and 79-73.
However, the younger fighter was unable to deliver the knockout of "Iron Mike" that he had promised during the weigh-in the day before the fight. Tyson, on the other hand, looked every bit of his 58 years, managing to land only a few meaningful punches throughout the bout.
Reminder. The fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul was held under non-standard boxing rules. The fighters competed for eight rounds, each lasting two minutes. The bout had official status and will count as part of both athletes' professional records.
