"Wouldn’t Be Surprised at All": Eddie Hearn Comments on Potential Canelo vs. Paul Fight
American YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul recently defeated the legendary Mike Tyson and is now considering the next step in his career. One possibility is a fight against Canelo Alvarez. Renowned promoter Eddie Hearn has shared his thoughts on the potential matchup.
Details: In an interview with *DAZN*, Hearn said he wouldn’t be surprised if this fight happens, emphasizing that Canelo is primarily interested in financial gains.
Quote: "I wouldn’t be surprised at all if this fight happens. Canelo only cares about the money, and it would be an easy night for him. But the people organizing Jake’s fights are very smart. Aside from the Tommy Fury fight, the only time Jake was in real danger was the first 20 seconds against Mike Tyson. They know perfectly well they have no chance against Canelo," said the promoter.
Additionally, Eddie Hearn revealed when Anthony Joshua is expected to return to the ring. According to Hearn, Joshua’s next fight is likely to take place in May or June.
Reminder: Tyson's high-profile loss to Jake Paul in a match that took place on November 15 in Arlington, Texas. The fight ended in a unanimous decision by the judges in Paul’s favor. The event drew over 70,000 spectators to the stadium, with an additional 60 million viewers tuning in via Netflix
