When Cristiano Ronaldo moved to Saudi Arabia, he emerged as the most pivotal player there. As widely known, he asserted that the league would become competitive with Europe's top 5 leagues. Now, he has supplemented his forecast, specifically addressing future transfers. Following numerous significant moves of renowned players such as Karim Benzema, Riyad Mahrez, N'Golo Kanté, and Neymar, he predicted that even more prominent players would transition to this ever-expanding league in the forthcoming transfer windows.

During an interview with the Saudi television channel SSC Sport, he expressed:

"I am content because when I made the decision to come here, no one believed what I said. But that's in the past now. It no longer matters. What matters most is that the league has grown, and many players desire to come here because they know the league is competitive, and now the entire world is observing this."

Players like Mohamed Salah seem to top the transfer lists of Saudi clubs. It's no secret that club owners from the Middle East possess the financial capabilities to meet the demands of both players and the clubs that hold their contracts.

While the Pro League has yet to achieve desired viewership levels, as many games have struggled to attract larger audiences, every effort is being made to rectify this.

During this winter transfer window, the league is unlikely to draw in new global football stars, but they plan to strive for success again in the summer.
