Tchouaméni narrowly avoided a severe knee injury.
Details: Today, in the 27th round of La Liga, Celta hosted Real Madrid. With the score tied at 1-1, fans’ attention was quickly drawn to an incident early in the match involving Celta's forward Ferran Jutglà and Real Madrid’s midfielder Tchouaméni.
Just 50 seconds into the game, Jutglà tried to beat Tchouaméni to the ball, but raised his leg far too high, driving his studs straight into the Frenchman’s knee.

Replays clearly showed Jutglà’s reckless foul—a challenge that could easily have warranted a straight red card—yet the match’s chief referee, Isidro Díaz de Mera Escuderos, completely ignored the incident.
Fortunately for Tchouaméni, he escaped injury and was able to continue playing.
