Real Madrid is gearing up for a major squad boost during the upcoming summer transfer window. According to Onda Cero, the club is prepared to allocate around €100 million for the acquisition of two players.
The Madrid giants are on the hunt for a central defender capable of replacing Antonio Rüdiger and David Alaba. Both players’ contracts are set to expire on June 30, and the likelihood of their departure from the Spanish capital is growing by the day. As a result, Real has set its sights on Borussia Dortmund defender Nico Schlotterbeck, as well as Manchester City midfielder Rodri.
Reports indicate that Real Madrid intends to spend approximately €100 million on these transfers this summer. However, further activity in the market will depend on possible sales of current squad members.
