Kyle Walker has left Milan and is heading back to England. Official channels of the Italian powerhouse have confirmed that the defender has departed the club.

Milan has decided against signing the 35-year-old right-back on a permanent deal. Walker spent six months in Italy and earned words of gratitude for his time with the team: "It's been a pleasure, Kyle," reads the club's press statement.

For the record, Walker made 16 appearances for the Rossoneri but didn't register any goals or assists. In the coming days, the defender will rejoin Manchester City, who still own his contract.
