Tomorrow, November 26, PSG will face Bayern away in the 5th round of the UEFA Champions League group stage. For one player, this match could hold special significance.

Details: Today, PSG announced the squad for the match, which includes central defender Presnel Kimpembe.

Kimpembe last played an official match 638 days ago—against Marseille in Ligue 1. Since then, he has been recovering from a severe Achilles injury. During his recovery process, he returned to training but had to undergo a repeat surgery due to a relapse.

The 29-year-old Kimpembe is a product of PSG’s academy and has spent his entire career with the club. In total, he has made 236 appearances for his hometown team.

The French defender is under contract with PSG until the summer of 2026.

Reminder: Previously, PSG’s president explained why the team will leave their current stadium, the Parc des Princes.
