West Ham will try again to sign Arsenal defender

In the last two transfer windows, West Ham were looking to bring in Arsenal defender Emile Smith-Rowe. The attempts failed then, but the Hammers intend to try and sign the player again.

According to Rudi Galetti, the defender's future at Arsenal is now unclear due to the player's increased injury problems. This is what David Moyes is ready to capitalise on in order to get Smith-Rowe.

It is believed that if West Ham manage to sign the defender, the club should give the player regular game time and adjust his workload to get the defender in peak form.

The 23-year-old defender has played in 16 of Arsenal's matches this season, totalling 358 minutes on the pitch, in which he has made one appearance and one assist. Transfermarkt values Emile at 25 million euros.
