“We were unbelievable”. Arteta praised Arsenal and personally team's young talent after Leicester

Arsenal's head coach Mikel Arteta lavished praise on his team following their comeback victory over Newcastle (4-2).

He particularly highlighted the young talent Ethan Nwaneri, who made a successful substitute appearance.

Quote: "I am very pleased with the performance. I think we were incredible today. We deserved to win by scoring more goals. Starting the second half by conceding the first goal made things complicated for us. But after equalizing, the team showed incredible character, continued to push, creating chance after chance. We suffered more than we should have, but that's football. I'm really pleased with the team.

The way we handled the situation and the challenging circumstances was remarkable. We had a clear understanding of what we needed to do, and we kept executing it. We earned the win.

What about Nwaneri? He came on and immediately took on one, two, three players. I just love that. If you want to play for the first team, you need to play with that kind of courage and drive," Arteta told RyanTaylorSport.

Reminder: After the victory over Newcastle, Arsenal has accumulated 14 points and has caught up with Manchester City in the table, who were unable to beat Newcastle today.

Additionally, earlier this week, Arsenal thrashed Bolton in the 1/16 final of the EFL Cup (5-1), marking a historic match for the 17-year-old Nwaneri, who scored a brace in his first start for the first team.
