Arsenal hosted Leicester at the Emirates Stadium for the 6th round of the Premier League. With Manchester City dropping points, the Gunners needed a win to catch up to the Cityzens in the table.

Everything started according to Mikel Arteta's plan, as Arsenal scored twice in the first half. Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard each found the back of the net.

Notably, Brazilian winger Martinelli ended his 17-match goal drought (or 208 days), scoring his first goal for Arsenal since March 4, 2024.

However, the second half turned the game upside down. Leicester executed two rapid counter-attacks, both finished by James Justin.

Leicester goalkeeper Mads Hermansen put on a phenomenal display, making several incredible saves to deny Arsenal.

It looked like it was going to be a draw. However, the Gooners managed to break through the visitors' goalkeeper and left the pitch with a victory.

Trossard scored a double in stoppage time to give Arsenal a dramatic three points! And the point in the match was set by Kai Havertz - 4:2.
