"We love you, our little baby boy!" Arsenal star Martin Ødegaard becomes a father for the first time

Arsenal captain Martin Ødegaard and his partner Helene Spilling have welcomed their first child, sharing a heartfelt photo of their baby on Instagram. Helene captioned the post emotionally: "We love you so much, our little baby boy."

The couple went public with their relationship in 2023, though they had reportedly been dating earlier. According to Norwegian outlet Verdens Gang, the pair secretly tied the knot last month. Records from the national registry revealed that Ødegaard updated his marital status and Helene added Ødegaard to her last name.

Helene is a professional ballroom dancer, having won the Norwegian Championship 17 times and participated in numerous world and European dance competitions.

Ødegaard recently recovered from an injury and returned to Arsenal's starting lineup. His team remains in the race for the Premier League title, though recent performances have been inconsistent.

The Gunners currently sit third in the league table, trailing leaders Liverpool by six points, with the Merseyside club having a game in hand.
