Arteta lamented lack of players after draw with Fulham

Arsenal unexpectedly failed to secure victory against Fulham in the 15th round of the Premier League. The match ended in a 1-1 draw as both sides traded goals.
After the game, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta expressed concerns over the shortage of defensive players.
Quote: "Gabriel's absence? I’m also very pleased with Jakub's performance. We had to change almost the entire defensive lineup. We had to adapt to the situation, and I’m very happy with how they managed it.
I hope the injured players return soon, but that’s more a question for the medical staff. We’re missing a lot of players in the backline.
I’m disappointed that we didn’t win. I believe we deserved the victory from start to finish. We did almost everything we needed to do to win. But this reflects the quality of our opponent and the league," Arteta told Football London.
Reminder: Arsenal has now slipped to third place in the Premier League standings, overtaken by Chelsea, who secured a dramatic 4-3 comeback win over Tottenham earlier today.
