"We believe we are capable of winning". Southgate spoke about the Euro 2024 final

England manager Gareth Southgate shared his expectations for the Euro 2024 final against Spain.

"How do we plan to play? In the same manner as in the semifinal. Throughout the tournament, we have made progress, especially with the ball, and we need to demonstrate these qualities to skillfully overcome the press and create scoring opportunities. We believe we can do that.

Spain is very good in possession, but they are clearly more purposeful in their attacking play, which gives them some advantage. They successfully defend as a team and press high across the pitch, aiming to put you in a tough spot. The most important thing for tomorrow is that we need to handle the ball very well," Southgate said in a pre-match comment to EURO2024.com.

Today, July 14, the final match of Euro 2024 will take place. The national teams of Spain and England will determine the best team in Europe. The match starts at 21:00 Central European Time.
