The Belgian winger for the Citizens is not losing hope ahead of the Champions League second leg against Real Madrid.

Details: After a crushing 3-0 defeat at the Santiago Bernabéu in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 against Real Madrid, 23-year-old Manchester City winger Jérémy Doku admitted that despite the significant score gap, his team still has a chance to overcome the Galácticos.

According to Doku, one of the main factors that could play in Manchester City’s favor in the return leg is their home stadium, the Etihad, and their fans:

"A comeback against Real Madrid? It would be crazy to say we don’t have a chance. Of course, they’re a strong team, but they scored three goals against us, so why can’t we do the same?

At the Etihad Stadium, we’ll need the support of our fans to put pressure on them. Anything is possible, so we still believe. If they’re with us, it will be a completely different game." Doku said.

This season, Doku has played 33 matches for the Citizens, scoring 3 goals and providing 12 assists.

The second leg of the Champions League round of 16 between Manchester City and Real Madrid will take place on March 17 at the Etihad Stadium.

Reminder: For the first time in history. Chelsea and Manchester City set an unwanted historic record
