This summer, Real Madrid completed one of the most coveted transfers by signing Kylian Mbappé. However, one more player remains on their wish list - Alphonso Davies. Los Blancos are confident they can secure a pre-contract agreement with him as early as January.

Details: Real Madrid has long been interested in Bayern Munich's defender and wanted to sign him this summer, but the fee demanded by the German club was deemed excessive.
Since the Canadian's contract expires next summer, the Madrid club is confident he will not renew with Bayern and will join Real Madrid in the upcoming transfer window, reports *Diario AS*. According to FIFA regulations, if a player has six months left on their contract, they are free to negotiate with other clubs—a plan Los Blancos intend to follow in securing another star signing on a free transfer.
Reminder: Alphonso Davies is considered one of the best left-backs in the world. According to the statistical portal Transfermarkt, his market value stands at €50 million, placing him fourth in terms of value for players in his position. The only players ranked above him are Josko Gvardiol from Manchester City (€75 million), Theo Hernández from Milan (€60 million), and Nuno Mendes from PSG (€50 million).
Davies has been playing for Bayern Munich since 2019, having been acquired from Vancouver Whitecaps for €14 million.
