WBO orders Teofimo Lopez to face the winner of Catterall - Barbosa

The World Boxing Organization (WBO) has officially scheduled the next fight for Teofimo Lopez.

Details. The organization has mandated that the world super lightweight champion Lopez fight the winner of the Jack Catterall vs. Arnold Barbosa bout, which will take place on February 15.

The fight between Teofimo and the winner of the Catterall - Barbosa matchup must occur within 180 days, with a deadline of August 14.

Reminder. In June, Teofimo Lopez successfully defended his WBO title by defeating Steve Claggett by unanimous decision. This victory marked Lopez's fifth consecutive win.
