WAFCON 2026: the quarter-finals line-up is now complete
The fixtures promise some top-class clashes.
The group stage of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations has concluded. The 8 qualifying teams now know their opponents for the quarter-finals, which will take place on 8 and 9 August.
Ivory Coast, who enjoyed an excellent first round, will take on Algeria in the hope of continuing their run in the competition. This match is scheduled for 8 August at 5 pm GMT.
The host nation, Morocco, will face South Africa. This clash, which promises to be a cracker, is scheduled for Saturday 8 August at 8 pm GMT.
Meanwhile, Cameroon will take on the defending champions, Nigeria. The Indomitable Lionesses topped Group D, whilst the Super Falcons finished second in Group C. This match will take place on Sunday 9 August at 5 pm GMT.
The final quarter-final will see Malawi take on Ghana. This match is scheduled for Sunday 9 August at 8 pm GMT.
