WAFCON 2026: the fixtures for Matchday 2 in Group B

The clash between South Africa and Ivory Coast is eagerly anticipated this evening at the Medina Stadium.

The Women’s Africa Cup of Nations continues in Morocco. In Group B, the clash between South Africa and Ivory Coast is on the programme this Friday as part of Matchday 2.

The Banyana Banyana will take on the Elephants at the Medina Stadium at 5 pm GMT. South Africa, one of the tournament favourites, lost their opening group stage match to Tanzania 2–1. The South Africans are therefore looking to bounce back.

Meanwhile, the Ivorians are keen to build on their convincing 4–1 victory over Burkina Faso. The Elephants have just one objective: to secure a second victory to guarantee their place in the next round.

The second match will see Burkina Faso take on Tanzania at 8 pm GMT.
