The powerful storm Dana continues to rage across Spain, having claimed 205 lives so far. Among the country’s major cities, Valencia has been hit the hardest, with some scenes from the city truly heartbreaking.
Details: Portuguese outlet B24 shared a video showing young boys in Valencia playing football through the mud, right amid the wreckage left by the storm.
This video serves as a reminder that for the love of football and sport, there are no obstacles either great.
The storm has yet to subside, now affecting Catalonia as well. Barcelona forward Robert Lewandowski today shared images of his garage, heavily flooded by the storm.
Reminder: Due to storm DANA, La Liga has postponed the Matchday 12 fixture between Valencia and Real Madrid, originally scheduled for Saturday. Additionally, six matches in the Copa del Rey’s Round of 64 and the league game between Villarreal and Rayo Vallecano have been rescheduled.
Meanwhile, Carlo Ancelotti has called for all football events in the country to be postponed.
