Victor Boniface is angry that he was not nominated for CAF POTY!

Bayern Leverkusen's Nigerian Victor Boniface expressed surprise that his name was not on the list of players nominated for the Africa Player of the Year award.

The 23-year-old striker put in a great performance with his team Bayer Leverkusen, won the Bundesliga and the German Cup with them, while maintaining an unbeaten streak with their coach Xavi Alonso.

Nevertheless, the African Football Confederation has released a list of ten players nominated for the African Player of the Year award, and Boniface commented on this, saying :" Of course, based on what I have presented, I deserve to be on this list based on what I did last season, so I should be on the list, but I don't feel upset about it."
And Boniface chose his colleague Lookman , in his opinion, who deserved to win the award for this year.
