The future of Manchester City defender Kyle Walker at the Etihad is all but over, and the veteran player has already found a new destination to continue his career.

Details: According to The Athletic, the 35-year-old full-back is on the verge of a move to Premier League newcomers Burnley. He is set to undergo a medical, and if all goes well, Walker will sign a two-year contract with the Clarets. Manchester City stand to receive up to five million pounds for the transfer, provided all conditions are met.

At Burnley, Walker will be reunited with coach Scott Parker, with whom he previously crossed paths at Tottenham from 2011 to 2013.

Reminder: Earlier reports indicated that Everton were interested in the services of the 35-year-old defender, but the Toffees were only prepared to offer a one-year loan deal, intending to sign him as a free agent in the summer of 2026. The Liverpool club also wanted Walker to accept a pay cut.
