"They do not have a talented generation". Mourinho commented the chances of teams to triumph at Euro

The newly appointed head coach of Fenerbahçe, José Mourinho, has commented on the chances of teams to win the UEFA Euro 2024.

Among the favorites, José highlighted Portugal, England, and France, while placing Germany and Spain in the second tier. However, Mourinho does not consider Italy's generation to be talented enough.

"'Euro favorites? It's a question of vocabulary. I think practically everyone thinks the same as me. Portugal, England, France. Germany and Spain in the second tier.

Italy as European champions? I don't believe in that. It's not a very talented generation. I don't believe they will win again,' the coach was quoted as saying by O Jogo.

The opening ceremony of Euro 2024 will take place at the Allianz Arena on June 14. It was previously reported that UEFA plans to stage a fireworks show during the tournament's opening ceremony.

The continental championship in Germany will last until July 14. The current European champion is the Italian national team.
