Two key Inter players set for potential return against Arsenal in the Champions League.
Details: Injured Inter duo Hakan Çalhanoğlu and Francesco Acerbi are expected to resume training under Simone Inzaghi in the coming days.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the two players are unlikely to feature in the upcoming Serie A clash with Venezia unless in “extreme” circumstances. This makes their return for the Arsenal fixture the most probable scenario.
Background: Çalhanoğlu and Acerbi sustained injuries during Inter’s recent win over Roma. Since then, they have missed the Champions League victory over Young Boys (1-0), a thrilling 4-4 draw with Juventus, and a decisive 3-0 win against Empoli yesterday.
