Inter and Juventus faced off in the ninth round of Italy’s Serie A, delivering an exhilarating performance that kept fans on edge until the final whistle.
The teams put on a historic first half, scoring five goals for the first time in their encounters. Mkhitaryan and Zielinski, with two penalty goals, scored for the Nerazzurri, while Vlahovic and Weah found the net for the Turin side.
In the second half, the scoring continued. Dumfries netted for the home team, while Yildiz’s double saved Thiago Motta’s men from defeat. The thrilling 4-4 draw marked the highest-scoring match between these teams since the 1960/61 season, when Juventus won 9-1.
This result favored Napoli, as Antonio Conte’s squad now leads the standings by a four-point margin.
