True leader. A video of Mbappe's speech before the game against Austria has surfaced online

The day before yesterday, France defeated Austria (1-0) in a tough match at the start of Euro 2024 thanks to Maximilian Weber's auto-goal.

After the game, a motivational speech of the French national team leader Kylian Mbappe, which he made in the locker room before the match, has hit the net.

Mbappe said the following:

"If something goes wrong: the referees, the pitch, the fans ... always respond with a game. We have players to play with. We will put the ball on the ground and press individually. Whatever happens, pressing, not pressing, it's not our problem. We worked with that pressing, especially the first fifteen minutes. Make the guys happy - these are Euro matches. We should not be afraid of anything at all.

Attention on the standards. It's all details, but it's important. Pay attention to their positions. Don't keep quiet, speak up. Dayot Upamecano is a simple man, he always tells us what to do. We've been practising that in training. You have a voice. It's important, whether it's defence or offence, it's key. We've seen they have great players, that's normal. We have to play more active. No matter what happens, keep the level of play, make decisions, we don't leave anybody behind. If a guy is in trouble, help him. We don't let anybody sink. We have to be all together".

It is worth recalling Mbappe broke his nose after a collision with an opponent at the end of the match, because of this rookie Real Madrid will miss the remaining matches of the group stage, but already in the playoffs will be able to play in a protective mask.
