Arsenal have ramped up their interest in Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola and will be keeping a close eye on his performances at the World Cup.

Details: According to BBC Sport, representatives of the London club will attend the 2026 World Cup round of 16 match between France and Sweden to assess Barcola in action.

Arsenal’s interest intensified after reports that the player could theoretically be available for transfer this summer. However, the situation remains tricky: Barcola’s contract with PSG runs until 2028.

According to The Athletic, the Parisian club has no intention of selling the winger, despite his frustration over limited playing time. PSG still rate his potential extremely highly and are not looking to let him leave amid growing interest from England.

It’s also noted that PSG believe the reported valuation of Barcola is too low. The club insists he should be valued higher than £116 million - the fee Manchester City are set to pay for Elliot Anderson.

Reminder: Earlier reports stated that Arsenal would have to splash the cash if they are serious about signing the PSG star.
