Tragedy strikes in Tudor's family. The reason why the Tottenham manager missed the press conference after the heavy defeat to Forest has been revealed
Tottenham head coach Igor Tudor was absent from the post-match press conference following the home defeat to Nottingham Forest (0-3) due to heartbreaking news — the Croatian learned of the death of a close family member immediately after the match.
His assistant, Bruno Saltor, broke the news and took over media duties. According to Saltor, in such a moment, Tudor simply could not speak to the press about the game.
Personal and family circumstances. Right now is not the right time for him to talk, Saltor said.

It is worth noting that under Tudor's guidance, Tottenham has yet to claim a single Premier League win — the team has picked up just one point from five matches. Ahead, the London side faces a tough run of fixtures, including away games against Chelsea, Aston Villa, and Sunderland, which makes the task of staying in the top flight even more challenging.
