Liverpool have identified their top priority to bolster their attack in the 2026 summer transfer window.
Details: According to Ben Jacobs, the Merseysiders have set their sights on RB Leipzig's talented winger, Yan Diomande. The German club has slapped a hefty €100 million price tag on the player, but Liverpool’s hierarchy and other suitors are confident the fee will drop significantly by summer.
Negotiations promise to be lengthy, but Diomande is viewed as the long-term successor to Mohamed Salah, whose departure to Saudi Arabia is looking increasingly likely.
Liverpool are also reportedly showing strong interest in Michael Olise, who is enjoying a sensational campaign at Bayern Munich. However, the English club has been met with a firm rejection: the German giants have no intention of parting with their star man at any price.
It’s worth noting that this season, the Ivorian has played 29 matches for the German side across all competitions, scoring 11 goals and providing 8 assists.
Reminder: Real Madrid remain interested in signing Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konaté.
