It is reported that the Galacticos are ready to offer Konaté a contract only if the Frenchman does not sign a new deal with Liverpool and becomes a free agent, and current Real player David Alaba leaves the club.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are doing everything they can to convince Konaté to sign a new contract, as head coach Arne Slot considers him one of the team's key players.
This season, Konaté has played 41 matches for the Reds, scoring 2 goals. His current contract with Liverpool runs until the end of this season, and his transfer value is estimated by Transfermarkt at 50 million euros.
