Three famous representatives of the Catalan club — Ronald Koeman, Frank Rijkaard and Jordi Cruyff — were spotted in the stands during El Clásico between Barcelona and Real Madrid.

The presence of these three iconic figures added a special historical atmosphere to El Clásico. Each is associated with a different era of Barcelona’s history, but they share one thing — a significant contribution to the club’s development.

Koeman, of course, is one of Barcelona’s greatest legends. As a player, the Dutchman scored the winning goal in the 1992 European Cup final against Sampdoria, delivering the club its first trophy of that kind. He later managed the Catalan side from 2020 to 2021.

Frank Rijkaard was in charge of Barcelona from 2003 to 2008. Under his leadership, the team won the Spanish championship twice and claimed the Champions League in 2006 after defeating Arsenal in the final. It was also during his tenure that Lionel Messi began to truly shine at the club.

Jordi Cruyff, the son of legendary Johan Cruyff, is also closely linked to Barcelona. He played for the first team in the 1990s before later returning to the club as technical secretary, where he helped shape the squad.

It should be noted that Real Madrid lead 1-0 at half-time after Mbappé’s goal.
