This is a great achievement. Pochettino speaks out about Chelsea reaching the Cup semi-finals

The day before, there was a quarter-final match of the English League Cup between the teams Chelsea and Newcastle. During regulation time, the match was tied 1:1, but in the penalty shootout the Blues snatched a victory with a score of 4:2.

As London team coach Mauricio Pochettino said after the game, his players missed a goal due to their own mistake, but continued to believe in themselves until the end.

"Sometimes in football you need luck, and it came to us. I thank the players because they were fantastic.

Our players are young. It's surprising because we always talk about talent, but the fact that we act together helps us. We have very good connections with each other. This result will help us.

We are very happy that we made it to the semi-finals. This is a great achievement. The fans and the club deserve this joy. This becomes a big motivation for us. We are waiting for the results of the draw tomorrow,” he noted.
