They should have been sold. Milan faced a wave of criticism after the Serie A match
Criticism towards AC Milan continues to grow after Theo Hernandez and Rafael Leão distanced themselves from the team during a break in yesterday's match against Lazio, with many experts asserting that they should have been sold by now, as reported by Football Italia.
During the Serie A match against Lazio, both players initially sat on the bench and then, just 30 seconds after coming on, helped equalize the score (2-2). However, soon after, there was a break during which the entire team gathered around the coach for instructions, except for Leão and Hernandez, who remained on the opposite side of the field.
Although the French defender claimed they stayed there because they had just come onto the field and didn't need a break, it didn't look good, especially when Abraham and Yunus Musah joined them.
Notably, Paulo Fonseca doesn't see a problem with what happened. The coach mentioned after the match that there was no conflict with the players.
