On the eve of the Euro 2024 semifinal against France, Barcelona and Spain's prodigy Lamine Yamal intrigued everyone with a cryptic quote on his Instagram story.
Yamal posted an image of chess pieces with the text:
“Move in silence and only speak when it's time to say checkmate.”
The 16-year-old has started in 4 out of 5 matches in the current European Championship, contributing 3 assists. He has become the youngest player in Euro history.
The semifinal between Spain and France will take place in Munich today, July 9th, starting at 21:00 Central European Time.
