The resignation has been canceled. Milan’s management has expressed their support for the head coach

Milan has had a challenging start to the new Serie A season, earning only two points from three matches. Amidst this, rumors about a potential resignation of the head coach began to circulate.

However, Milan’s sporting director, Furlani, confirmed that they fully support Paulo Fonseca and the entire team. The club is pleased with his work during the preseason.

“We stand firmly behind Paulo Fonseca and the team. We are satisfied with the work he did in preseason. Of course, we would have preferred to have 9 points by now, but there is no panic,” Furlani stated.

We previously mentioned that Milan’s management has yet to decide on the coach’s future, but it may change depending on the outcomes of crucial matches later in the month.

At the start of the season, Milan lost to Parma and drew with Lazio and Torino. After the international break, the Rossoneri are scheduled to play against Venezia on September 14, Liverpool on September 17, and Inter on September 22.

Meanwhile, criticism of Milan continues to grow, especially after Theo Hernandez and Rafael Leão were sidelined during yesterday’s match against Lazio. Many experts argue that they should have already been sold.
