The punishment for the former coach of Lecce for his scandalous behavior is known
Lecce has dismissed their former head coach, Roberto D'Aversa, due to his scandalous behavior after the defeat against Verona (0:1) in a recent Serie A match.
To recall, immediately after the game, there was a brawl during which D'Aversa headbutted Verona's forward, Thomas Henry.
But the troubles for the unrestrained coach don't end there. The Italian has been handed a four-match ban as punishment. Additionally, he will have to pay a fine of €10,000.
Thomas Henry, who was on the receiving end of the headbutt, has also been banned for one match for "provocative behavior towards opposing players, creating a tense situation."
Lecce currently occupies the 16th position in the Serie A standings. The club has not yet announced D'Aversa's successor, but it is expected that Luca Gotti will take over the position.
