Napoli are planning to call up Victor Osimhen for preseason training, which kicks off in mid-July. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Nigerian striker is scheduled to undergo medical tests from July 14 to 15 before joining the team's training camp.
Osimhen has returned from his loan spell at Galatasaray and has rejected a lucrative offer from Al-Hilal, who were ready to pay him €30 million per year. The Saudi club remains interested in securing his transfer, but if a deal is not reached in the coming weeks, Napoli will officially include the player in their squad for preseason preparations.
It's worth recalling that Osimhen's contract runs until 2026 with an option for a one-year extension, and includes a €75 million release clause—which is out of reach for Italian clubs.
