The principal goalkeeper of Real Madrid, Thibaut Courtois, has resumed training with the team after a severe injury, as reported by the publication Rodra.

It is noted that the recovery of the Belgian goalkeeper is showing positive progress and is providing a powerful boost to the team. Courtois' sessions with his teammates are currently of an engaging nature. His full return to goalkeeping duties is expected in April, as previously predicted.

It is worth recalling that in early August last year, Courtois suffered a severe injury - a torn cruciate ligament. As a result, the goalkeeper has been absent for the entire season, with Ukrainian goalkeeper Andriy Lunin taking his place between the posts for the Whites.

The 31-year-old Courtois has been representing Real Madrid since 2018. The Royal Club acquired the goalkeeper from Chelsea for 35 million euros. In total, the Belgian has played 230 matches for the Madrid team, conceding 219 goals.

Earlier reports indicated that Real Madrid is nearing a contract extension with the club legend.
