Experienced central midfielder Toni Kroos is on the verge of signing a new contract with Real Madrid.

As reported by Nicolo Schira, the player and the club have reached an agreement to extend the agreement until the summer of 2025.

It was previously speculated that Kroos might announce the end of his contract after the current season. The German midfielder has mentioned several times that he plans to end his career at the top level, not in Saudi Arabia or MLS.

Recently, Kroos decided to return to the German national team, from which he retired after Euro 2021.

The 34-year-old midfielder joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2014 from Bayern Munich for 25 million euros. Since then, he has scored 28 goals and provided 96 assists in 452 matches for the Madrid club.

In the current season, Kroos has contributed 1 goal and 7 assists in 35 games across all competitions.
