The pivotal defender of Manchester United will be absent for the match against Nottingham Forest
One of the key defenders of Manchester United, Harry Maguire, will miss the upcoming FA Cup match.
Manchester United's head coach, Erik ten Hag, announced this during the press conference ahead of the cup game. Additionally, there are doubts surrounding another defender, Rafael Varane, and midfielder Bruno Fernandes. They both may also miss this match. As for Casemiro, he is fine and ready for the match against Nottingham Forest.
Incidentally, the Red Devils' players requested additional time off from the club's management after the match against Fulham. Interestingly, they made this request bypassing head coach Erik ten Hag. The players justified this unusual request by claiming that the Dutch coach is overburdening the team.
It's reported that Manchester United's management did not agree to grant the players the extra time off, and the request was promptly dismissed.
