Manchester United hosted Fulham at Old Trafford as part of the 26th round of the Premier League.

Ahead of the match, Erik ten Hag faced a significant issue as the team's main striker, Ramus Højlund, sustained an injury. His place at the forefront of the attack was taken by Marcus Rashford. It's also worth noting the debut start of 19-year-old forward Omari Forson for the Red Devils.

The teams played a balanced first half, threatening each other's goals in turn. The hosts came close to scoring through Garnacho, and Pereira could have put the Red Devils ahead, but both goalkeepers displayed their skill.

The second half didn't unfold as planned for the Manchester-based team. They struggled to create opportunities in attack, and Fulham capitalized on this by opening the scoring, much to the dismay of Onana Bessi.

The hosts scrambled to salvage the situation, albeit with little success until the 89th minute. That's when Maguire successfully capitalized on a rebound and restored parity.

The hosts threw everything into attack during added time, pinning the visitors back in their own penalty area, but it failed to yield the desired outcome. Moreover, in the 97th minute, the guests broke out on a counterattack, which Iwobi concluded with a precise strike, plunging the Old Trafford stands into shock.

This victory marked Fulham's first triumph over today's opponents since 2009, while United suffered their first defeat in 2024.
