The newly crowned UFC lightweight champion, Ilia Topuria, attended the match of his favorite football club, Real Madrid, against Sevilla.

Real Madrid organized a mini-ceremony to honor Topuria. The fighter stepped onto the football field and presented his belt to the fans at the Santiago Bernabéu. Following this, he delivered a symbolic first kick to the ball.

As a reminder, on February 17th, Topuria knocked out Alex Volkanovski to become the UFC champion. Afterward, he called out Conor McGregor for a fight. There are rumors that his bout against the Irishman may take place precisely at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Yesterday, Real Madrid defeated Sevilla (1:0) thanks to a goal from Luka Modrić in the 81st minute.
